Home What We Do How We Work Our Work Field Notes Our Story Get in Touch
01
Workflow audit (1–2 weeks)
We spend time with the people who actually run the process — not the documentation. We map decision nodes, identify where human judgment is genuinely required, and find the places where a well-specified agent can take over reliably. This phase ends with a written brief that both sides sign off on. If we don't think an agent is the right tool at this stage, we say so.
02
Agent specification (1 week)
Before any code: a written specification covering inputs, outputs, tools, model selection, cost constraints, latency requirements, escalation triggers, and acceptable failure modes. Both sides agree on this document in writing. Scope changes after this point go through a formal change request — not a Slack message.
03
Build and integration testing (2–4 weeks)
We build against your actual environment. Real data, real APIs, real access patterns. We don't do sandbox demos that break on first contact with production. Integration tests cover normal operation, edge cases defined in the spec, and failure modes. You see test results, not just "it's working".
04
Deployment and handover (1 week + 30-day stabilisation)
The agent goes live in your environment. Monitoring is in place from day one. The handover package includes: architecture documentation written for engineers, runbook written for operations, test suite with instructions, and a 30-day stabilisation period where we're available for issues. After that, you have the option of a maintenance plan or full internal ownership.

What we don't do

We don't run open-ended retainers. We don't build general AI assistants or chatbots. We don't do "AI strategy" consulting that doesn't lead to a deployable system. We don't promise to fix a broken process with automation.

Every engagement has a defined end state. You know what you're getting before we start.

3–8 weeks

from scoping call to first live agent

A running agent in your production environment
Integration tests you can rerun after any change
Architecture and runbook documentation
Monitoring with alerting thresholds set
30 days of stabilisation support

Fixed-scope, fixed-price per engagement. No hourly billing. No surprises. Pricing is discussed in the scoping call after we understand what we're actually building.
